Cocktails

Pirate Negroni

The Negroni cocktail got its name after Count Pascal-Olivier de Negroni, a famous army general, asked bartender Fosco Scarselli to prepare an Americano, but to replace sparkling water with Gin.

Fosco Scarselli prepared the cocktail as the Count wanted and, to show that it was a different cocktail, added orange zest instead of lemon.

How we do?

Place all ingredients directly into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice cubes, mix for a few seconds with a bar spoon and garnish with an orange peel.

  • 3 cl Pineapple Plantation
  • 3 cl Campari
  • 3 cl Sweet Vermouth

Cuba Libre

Cuba Libre, the cocktail that was born with a war of independence.

The Spanish colonies of the Americas sought to free themselves from centuries of Spanish rule in the late nineteenth century. Here, enter the United States and the imagination of a young captain who created a delicious cocktail that is very simple to produce.

How we do?

In a tall glass filled to the brim with fresh ice, squeeze out two thick slices of fresh lemon before adding the exhausted rinds as well. Pour in the golden rum before covering with Fever-Tree Madagascan Glue cooled. Give it a gentle stir and enjoy.

  • 150ml of Fever-Tree Madagascan Cola
  • 50ml of Golden Rum
  • Lots of fresh ice
  • Limes

Gin & Tonic

While there is an incredible variety of ed gins, ornaments and glass options available, this is our ultimate recipe for the perfect G&T.

The Spaniards use a cup cup to serve gin and tonics – it’s a large balloon cup that allows the wonderful vegetable aromas in the drink to be released, adding an extra level of flavor. At home, a large glass of wine is a perfectly good substitute. Add ice first; ideally, they should be large, transparent cubes and you should drink plenty of them – the more ice, the slower they will melt and dilute your drink.

How we do?

Pour over a measure of gin followed by three times as much Premium Indian Tonic Water. Since lemon is a sweet citrus fruit, it works great with a typical gin and tonic. Here we are looking for oils in the skin instead of fruit juice, so peel a strip on the outside, rotate it over the glass to spray the oil into the drink, and then place it in the glass. Drink from a glass rather than a straw to ensure you get the full flavor experience.

  • 150ml of Fever-Tree Premium Indian Tonic Water
  • 50ml of a classic London Dry gin
  • Plenty of fresh ice
  • A twist of lime peel
Fever Tree Indian 20cl
