How is the Citadelle Rouge made?

The idea for the creation of Citadelle Rouge arose from the concern of Alexandre Gabriel, founder of Citadelle Gin, to create a gin that wasn’t made up of artificial elements. In other words, this drink is produced without the use of synthetic colours or flavours so you can enjoy a 100% natural taste.

To achieve an unprecedented harmony of flavours, Alexandre Gabriel created a progressive artisanal infusion process. This method involves individually infusing 19 plants at a specific time and temperature. This, in turn, is similar to making tea, as the longer the ingredients are left, the more intense their flavour.

Afterwards, fresh raspberries, blueberries and cranberries are infused, along with rhubarb and blackcurrants.
