A gin that takes you to the skies with roots in the Alentejo and the Algarve. Confused?
Stay on that side, today we share with you the story of the Portuguese gin brand created by the Angels. Yes, the Angels indeed.
A gin inspired by its origins
It was in 2019, when they were celebrating their 20-year career, that the brother duo, Nelson and Sergio Rosado, launched the drink. Beyond the stage, the band, well known in the music world, entered a new business area when they created their gin brand: Angel.
It started as a family idea, always encouraged by his brother Sergio, a self-confessed gin-lover. And, naturally, the partnership extended to brother Nelson and the Angels’ music, being launched to celebrate their 20 years as a band.
Angel is a gin inspired by its origins in the Alentejo and the Algarve, doing justice to the Alentejo roots of both their mother and father from Aljezur.
A fresh, aromatic and enveloping nectar
Angel is distilled from 11 natural botanicals, giving it a very regional feel. Of the 11 botanicals, we highlight 3 that make the Angel experience unique.
The highlight starts with the coriander seeds, which came from the Alentejo. It goes through the carob, originally from the Algarve. It ends with the pink pepper, another ingredient that makes up Angel gin.
These are the three botanicals that, together with 8 others, give rise to the fresh, aromatic and enveloping nectar found in Angel.
How to Prepare Angel – Gin From Heaven
Served in a bronze-toned bottle with a 700 milliliter capacity and 40 percent alcohol content, the gin can be prepared in a cool, wide glass accompanied by a Feever Tree tonic.
If you are a gin lover, enjoy trying new drinks, or are simply a fan of the Angels, you will want to try this drink.
